Wolves Among the Sheepdogs

 In Domestic, opinion, Politics

Back on April, 10, 2015, Robert R. Doggart was arrested in Signal Mountain, Tennessee by Federal agents after allegedly making “terroristic” statements aimed at committing violence to the small Muslim enclave of “Islamberg” near Hancock, New York. The threats reportedly included burning down a mosque, school, and cafeteria. But in addition to the threats themselves sounding extremist, how the feds got there is a little scary as well. There are wolves among the sheepdogs in the Patriot Movement.

Mr. Doggart posted a $30,000 bond. He plead guilty to one count of Interstate Communication of Threats, which carries a 5 year prison penalty. He remains on home monitoring until the date of his sentencing. The left – and the Muslims- have  had a field day over his threats as a “Christian Terrorist.”

According to articles by RT and The Times Free Press, Mr. Doggart was a former candidate for a Tennessee congressional seat who received about 6% of the vote. He also worked in the field of engineering- fuels such as oil and gas- for many years. The FBI says they came upon him after a Facebook post (his account has been removed):

“Target 3 [Islamberg] is vulnerable from many approaches and must be utterly destroyed.”

“We’re gonna be carrying an M4 with 500 rounds of ammunition, light armour piercing, a pistol with three extra magazines, and a machete.  And if it gets down to the machete, we will cut them to shreds.”

The snitches among us

The official Criminal complaint for Mr. Doggart lists a “CS” – that term means “Cooperating Source.” It refers to the presence of someone who is willing to assist law enforcement with obtaining evidence on a person.

They obtained a court order for wiretap and began monitoring his communications. They enlisted the aid of the “Cooperating Source,” from El Paso, Texas, who participated in several phone calls with Mr. Doggart.  Then the CS actually set up a meeting in Eastern Tennessee back in April. One day after that meeting, Mr. Doggart was in custody.

According to the complaint, his meetings with other members of an “unknown militia” were monitored and recorded by federal agents. Some of the phone calls he participated in were “consensual recordings.” That means at least one person involved in the call gave their permission to record it.

The narrative

The Federal government views all militias, Sovereign citizens, and anyone who calls themselves a “patriot” as dangerous right wing extremists. Mr. Doggart did not help the cause of patriots by his rhetoric. He also failed to recognize that law enforcement can read private messages in all social media formats that are not encrypted. Facebook is NOT encrypted for privacy.

Part of the original charge against him was  title 18 U.S.C. Section 247 “Intentionally defacing, damaging, or destroying any religious real property because of the religious nature of that property, or attempting to do so.” On his attorney’s advice, he plead guilty to one count of Title 18 U.S.C. Section 875 (c) – threatening communication.

This incident should remind us all that not everyone in the Patriot Movement is for us… some of them are not who they purport themselves to be. Some are working for the government, and some have ideas which work against us in the long run.

The snitches

In documents obtained by Uncle Sam’s, it appeared that CS1 listed in the complaint was not properly trained in how to conduct covert recordings on a meeting in person. The documents state that he “inadvertently” left some of his equipment on the table at the meeting while he went to the restroom, which meant that the recording was no longer “consensual” and therefore the agents monitoring it scrambled to turn down the volume on the recording equipment while he was gone.

That means likely he was a ‘snitch,’ not a regular agent. A trained agent would not have made that mistake.

The militia in the government documents released a statement on Sunday revealing the name of the “cooperating source” after they conducted a staff investigation.  His name, obviously a fictitious one, was “Sangre de Lobo.” It is unlikely that he is the only person around who is cooperating with the government, in their group or any other.

The purpose is to divide us, make us suspicious of one another, and make sure we do not work together toward correct goals.

Controlling the tongue, mind, and heart

Since this incident proves that we have feds or government snitches among the patriots, how do we communicate if the time should come if we do encounter an imminent danger within the nation? We can have all the encrypted apps in the world, but if we don’t learn how to control our tongues, we will destroy our fellow patriots as well as ourselves. When there are wolves in the same pasture as the sheepdogs,  we must all remember to keep it on the up and up.

There are three kinds of people in this patriot movement:  government wolves who want to destroy the people who love America, wolves who think they’re tough and want to destroy our enemies and brag about it incessantly, and the true sheepdogs who are protectors of American values.

Which one are you?
