USPS Whistleblower Grilled for Hours Over Claim That Ballots Were Backdated

By Faye Higbee

Richard Hopkins is the USPS Whistleblower from Erie, PA, that claimed workers were told to backdate all ballots that came in after the deadline on November 3. He is a Marine combat veteran. He was coerced under interrogation with no lawyer or to try to recant his statement by the USPS IG agent Russell Strasser. Richard stands by his original statement, and has demanded that the news medis remove the story they wrote about him fabricating that information. He did not recant.

As usual, interrogaters attempt to come off as friends. Russell Strasser attempted to make Richard feel at ease that he was a friend at first…but it didn’t last long. He used a technique known as a “fear up approach” to make Richard believe that his memory was faulty.  He also threatened Hopkins over his GoFundMe account, that he would be charged for deception. “I’m not while I am, actually, I am trying to twist you a little bit because in that believe it or not, your mind will kick in. We like to control our mind and when we do that, we can convince ourselves of a memory, but when you’re under a little bit of stress, which is what I’m doing to you purposely, your mind can be a little bit clear.” Russell Strasser

Note: Reporter Jack Prosobiec is also a US military veteran.

“About to release hours of raw audio of federal agents intimidating and coercing Richard Hopkins He is obtaining a lawyer this a.m. to potentially pursue some claims Other postal workers are on verge of going public. Feds’ deterrence campaign will fail!” James O’Keefe

Meanwhile on Tuesday, the Democrats released the coerced statement based and the Washington Post picked it up, accusing Richard Hopkins of  ‘fabricating’ ballot tampering. Hopkins was placed on unpaid leave.

“My name is Richard Hopkins, I am the postal employee who came out and whistle blew on the Erie PA postal service,” he said in the video. “I am right at this very moment looking at a article written by Washington Post, says that I fabricated the allegations of ballot tampering – I’m here to say that I did not ‘recant’ my statement, that did not happen, that is not what happened and you will find out tomorrow.”

Hopkins then went onto say that he would like the Post to ‘recant’ the story they wrote about him.

Depending on what Hopkins shares tomorrow, The Post better watch out. The majority of Americans have already lost faith in the media and using unnamed sources to ruin the reputation of a whistleblower would be the straw that breaks the camels back, if you ask me.” Sara A. Carter

Marine veteran Richard Hopkins did tours of duty in Afghanistan and Iraq.

“I’m just doing my duty and just–I honestly made an oath when I joined the Marine Corps from the get-go and as most military guys say, it’s a blank check. We never give up that check. We’re going to protect our country and our Constitution until the day we die. That’s the point where that check is cashed in. And I’ve given that check and my heart to this country.”
