That Coca-Cola “Be Less White” Training

The Coca-Cola “Be Less White” training video has created a plethora of craziness through social media. A “whistleblower” leaked images of the video to psychologist Karlyn Borysenko and the race (oops, sorry) was on to cheer or denounce it.

UPDATE: Coca Cola has dropped its “woke” training in the wake of huge backlash, according to Breitbart.

Even Candace Owens entered the fray:

If a corporate company sent around a training kit instructing black people how to “be less black”, the world would implode and lawsuits would follow.

I genuinely hope these employees sue CocaCola for blatant racism and discrimination.

Indoctrination: this slide politicized something that should have no relation whatsoever to what color skin is involved. What it does do is create the very thing they want to erase. Instead of training to be nice people to work with or competant employees, they’ve gone into indoctrination.

Coca-Cola told news media that the video was accessible through LinkedIn training information. It is by best-selling author Robin DiAngelo.

Our Better Together global learning curriculum is part of a learning plan to help build an inclusive workplace. It is comprised of a number of short vignettes, each a few minutes long. The training includes access to LinkedIn Learning on a variety of topics, including on diversity, equity and inclusion.

What does all this demanding actually do? For some it pushes them into a corner of shame, preventing them from becoming who they are and having to pretend they’re dirty awful people because of their “privileged” skin color. For others, it increases the anger they’ve already felt after watching riots destroy our once lovely cities during the summer of 2020. Attempting to force people to acknowledge their “white privilege” or some sort of inherent “racism” is totally out of line and foments division instead of understanding. And the problem isn’t stopping, it’s spreading.

The answer is found Biblically, under something we once called the Golden rule – “Do to others what you want them to do to you.” That would solve the problem, but then people nowadays want control over others and want to grind in their own bitterness and hatred.
