Tallahassee Mass Stabbing at Business

A Tallahassee mass stabbing occurred at Dyke Industries on the Maryland Circle industrial complex the morning of 9-11-2019. The suspect is in custody.

Current employee Antwann Brown went on a stabbing spree this morning after a dispute arose in the office. The victims were reportedly stabbed with a pocket knife. Even though this is the 18th anniversary of 9-11-2001, police have found no evidence of a connection to terrorism. The suspect was not among those who were hospitalized.

Tallahassee Police are the lead in the investigation. The Jacksonville FBI is assisting according to WCNC.

Dyke Industries distributes residential and commercial building supplies such as doors and windows.

At approximately 8:37 am on September 11, 2019, TPD responded to a stabbing near the 2000 block of Maryland Circle. Upon officer’s arrival, they discovered multiple stabbing victims and provided immediate medical attention.

This case has been assigned to investigators with TPD’s Violent Crimes Unit. Investigators are asking anyone with information about this case to please call them at (850) 891-4200 or Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.

Five people were stabbed, some multiple times, according to accounts, in the Tallahassee mass stabbing. The local hospital received five patients.

One male named Bobby Riggins Jr arrived at Dykes Industries this morning for a job interview and told his wife that he was stabbed five times by the suspect. His wife told reporters that he called her to tell her he had internal bleeding and was going into surgery. (CBS)
