Santa Fe, Texas – Suspect identified, Bombs Found On and Off Campus

By Faye Higbee

The shooting on Friday in Santa Fe, Texas has an updated death toll of 10, most of whom were students. The suspect was identified as Dimitrios Pagourtzis, 17 aka ‘Dimitri’. According to the latest releases, he reportedly planted bombs both on campus and off in addition to the multiple casualties. It is still unclear why a second person was detained as a person of interest. The original report is here.

Police searched a home about 3 miles away from the school where the teen was living, and reportedly found a bomb at that location. More law enforcement officers were at a home about 4 miles from the school, but it was unclear how that was connected to the shooting, according to Click2Houston.

KHOU reported that Pagourtzis posted a photo of himself wearing a t-shirt that said “born to kill” and a post on Instagram that said “we all die sometime.” His Facebook and instagram profiles were immediately deleted, and the Gateway Pundit noted that it was possible that a fake account may be in play now that the profile has been deleted.

The retired police officer was shot in the arm, and lost a lot of blood. He is listed in critical condition.
