Portland Anarchists Send 1 Policeman to Hospital, 5 Others Doused in Chemicals, 24 Arrests

By Faye Higbee

The Portland Anarchists we not-so-lovingly call Antifa continued their rioting ways last night for the 120th time. Police heard about a “planned unpermitted” march in the Kenton neighborhood/park and moved in.  They observed many participants with body armor, helmets, and shields – the “posture” which told them the situation would likely become violent so they moved in and confiscated their shields. As they began to leave the park, they were pelted with water bottles.

The crowd began to march toward the PPA union building, which has been the scene of violence for weeks.

Portland anarchists

One car marked as a “medic” vehicle was driving erratically, and when police stopped it, a gun was found inside. The driver was cited for the traffic offenses, and the gun is still under investigation.

The Portland Police Bureau released a statement about the Portland anarchists from last night which read in part:

While in the past, in an effort to deescalate, incident commanders have allowed demonstrations to block the street, it has not proved to be an effective strategy for preventing violence and arson. Despite the warnings, several people moved into the street and attempted to block traffic. Officers moved in and made more arrests.

The officers encountered violent resistance. People threw rocks and other hard objects at them. A sergeant was punched in the face and was transported to the hospital for treatment. Five other officers were sprayed with some kind of chemical.

Due to the persistent violence from individuals within the crowd, officers advised that it was an unlawful assembly via loudspeaker and Twitter. The assembly was ordered to disperse by traveling to the north on sidewalks. Failure to adhere to this order may subject them to arrest, citation, or crowd control agents, including, but not limited to, tear gas, OC (oleoresin capsicum) munitions and/or impact weapons. While CS gas is currently prohibited for use by Portland Police, state law still requires that the generalized term “tear gas” be included in such warnings.

Some of those arrested were wearing heavy body armor with rifle plating, were marked with “press” insignia and carrying a “press” pass, and possessed weapons such as knives and OC spray. Another who ran from police and was not caught threw a full sized baseball bat at the pursuing officers. See photos.

Officers made more arrests until the crowd dissipated about 1:30a.m.

Those arrested were quickly released without bail. Back out to do the same thing again…over and over, thanks to the Multnomah County and Portland prosecutors.

Note: Antifa will NOT protect you. They are intent on destroying your way of life…and even your life itself.

The message

Our own Rick Ferran has a message for the anarchist Antifa Communists- and make no mistake, they are Communists as their predecessors before them.

In response to this tweet, Rick was once again called a “gusano” (worm) – something he hasn’t been called since he was a child.

So how long will it be before all of this blows up in the faces of the criminals who belong to Antifa? If the mainstream media has anything to say about it, Antifa is a “myth.” But the vast majority of Americans, especially the veteran community, may feel otherwise.
