MS-13 Issued Kill Order on Cops on Long Island

An informant walked into the Hempstead, New York police department on Wednesday to tell them that MS-13, the notorious Salvadoran gang, had issued a kill order to take down any random cop in the Hempstead/Long Island area. The NYPD promptly issued an intelligence bulletin advising officers to have strong situational awareness and be armed even off duty.

“The police have been making too many arrests and it’s time to take the streets back and take out (shoot) a cop like we do in El Salvador.” MS-13

Major Arrest

A major arrest of MS-13 boss Miguel Angel Corea Diaz, known as “Reaper” occurred on Thursday, according to an article in the New York Daily News. It was massive investigation that took down a man that was said to have a “reach that extended from El Salvador to Texas and throughout the eastern United States, including New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland.” He appeared in Nassau County Court.

Though officers in New York and Long Island have been wary of MS-13 Members for years, the order says that any member can kill any officer. Diaz is believed to have been the one who issued the kill order, but as with all threats against police officers anywhere, vigilance is necessary.

According to the New York Daily News,

The violent gang was blamed for more than 30 murders on Long Island since 2013, but has come under increasing law enforcement scrutiny in the last year.

Last July, a new indictment charged 20 MS-13 members and associates of crimes from murder to racketeering to arson.

One month earlier, cops in Nassau County rounded up 41 suspected gang members linked to 32 crimes.

The vicious gang Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13 was founded in Los Angeles, California in the 80s from members that migrated from El Salvador. The gang has an especially high number of illegal aliens in its ranks, and is said to be present in 46 states, Mexico, Canada, and Spain, according to the Daily Mail. They are known to torture their victims, and beat them to death with bats or hack them to death with machetes. They have been known to conduct ritualized killings… and they have a large presence on Long Island.
