The two deputies were ambushed at around 7 p.m. outside the Compton Metro rail station as they sat in their patrol vehicle. The deputies were said to be “fighting for their lives” at the hospital, when a group of BLM activists showed up and attempted to block the entrances to the emergency room. They were out of surgery by about 11 p.m., according to LASD.
“To the protesters blocking the entrance & exit of the HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM yelling “We hope they die” referring to 2 LA Sheriff’s ambushed today in #Compton: DO NOT BLOCK EMERGENCY ENTRIES & EXITS TO THE HOSPITAL. People’s lives are at stake when ambulances can’t get through.” LASD statement on Twitter
Not that these activists give a rip about any other lives but their own.
Video posted online showed protesters being prevented from walking farther onto hospital grounds and arguing with hospital security over whether the hospital is public or private property.
Protesters could be heard shouting at one officer who appeared to point some sort of weapon at the protesters.
“That’s why you’re dying one by one, you stupid f—s,” a man can be heard saying. “Y’all gonna die one by one. This ain’t gonna stop.”
“You’re next with the f—— hot pocket,” a man shouted.
“I want to deliver a message to the family of the [inaudible]: I hope they f—— die,” a man yelled.
Two people were arrested by the LASD. One female was eventually identified as a member of the press, but didn’t have proper credentials. She was released, but still charged.
“After deputies issued a dispersal order for the unlawful assembly of a group of protesters blocking the hospital emergency entrance & exits, a male adult protester refused to comply & cooperate. During his arrest, a struggle ensued at which time a female adult ran towards the deputies, ignored repeated commands to stay back as they struggled with the male and interfered with the arrest. The female adult, who was later identified as a member of the press, did not identify herself as press and later admitted she did not have proper press credentials on her person. Both individuals have been arrested for 148 P.C.” LA County Sheriff statement on Twitter
Here’s a pro-tip for all “members of the press.” When an officer is working and the situation is volatile, DON’T RUN TOWARD THEM or act like one of the activists. When an officer tells you do to something, just DO IT.
The tension between police and activists is growing worse, with the threats against police increasing exponentially. The more this occurs, the more volatile the situations will become. It’s an agenda.
