Fox News host Sean Hannity stated that our Constitutional Republic may be lost, and the picture of that loss can be seen in the arrest of Roger Stone.
“We are a democratic republic. The Constitution that we cherish so much is the foundation of all law and order in this country. If you don’t apply the laws equally, only going after one group of people because of their political views, and you protect people with other political views, you’ve lost our Constitution. We’ve lost our country.” Sean Hannity op-ed on FoxNews.com
So let’s look at some of the points he made and think hard about what it means:
Roger Stone is not charged with some big crime related to “Russian Collusion.” He’s charged with ‘lying to Congress.’ James Clapper, and John Brennan both lied to Congress. James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, and a host of others lied to Congress. None of them have been raided by the FBI at 6 a.m. and dragged off in handcuffs.
Hillary Clinton deleted emails that were evidence of wrong-doing. She’s still walking around free after she “ignored subpoenas for emails, wiped her hard drive with BleachBit and smashed phones to pieces to avoid turning them over.” She, Susan Rice, Obama, and others lied to the American people and the families of those lost in Benghazi.
Extortion 17, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, IRS scandal, Uranium One…none of the players are in jail or raided by the FBI. But they’ve done their best to go after the President and every peripheral person they can find over a baseless “dossier”paid for by the Democrat Party. Where are their arrests? Where is the punishment for their “lies?
Mueller wants to grind on Stone to get him to roll over on Trump. Just like he’s been doing to other who have been arrested. But none of it has found any actual “Russian Collusion.”
Roger Stone is a well known figure and had the FBI just called his lawyer and say ‘come down to our office we have a warrant,’ he’d have shown up. But the theatrics at his personal residence were totally unnecessary for someone who only supposedly lied to Congress. And remember that CNN was present to watch the drama. There shouldn’t have been any drama whatsoever.
The most chilling statement made by Sean Hannity was: “Without equal application of our laws and equal justice under the law, there’s one thing left to say to our great nation: Goodbye.”
