So let’s get this straight. Iran has arrested their former President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for “inciting violence.” He has frequently denounced the Rouhani government, and made some statements during the recent protests that the Iranian government feels are incitement. There appears to be some “bad blood” between the Ayatollah and Ahmadinejad.
Ahmadinejad was arrested, with the permission of the Ayatollah, while on a trip to the city of Shiraz after making remarks at Bushehr that were described as “inciting.”
“Some of the current officials live away from the problems of the people and concerns, and do not know anything about the reality of society,” adding that “what it suffers Iran today is mismanagement and not lack of economic resources…The government of Hassan Rowhani believes that they own the land and that people are a ignorant society that does not know. The people are angry at this government because of its monopoly on public wealth…Rouhani and his government team consider themselves a criterion for the right, and do not accept any criticism or objection directed to the performance of his government.” Ahmadinejad quote from the UK Arab Newspaper alquds
Ahmadinejad fell out of favor previously and was banned from leaving the country. Now it appears he is under house arrest.

Ahmadinejad was viruently against America, and wanted to literally wipe Israel off the map. He was as radical as they come. He had placed his name into consideration as a candidate once again for President. There is an ulterior motive here, of that you can be totally assured.
former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was arrested for allegedly inciting unrest against the Iranian government.
The report said Ahmadinejad is currently under house arrest, for comments understood to be anti-government.

And what the hell is Ahmadinejad, the former President, doing pretending he is the answer to it all when he tortured protestors in Evan Prison during the Green Revolution, allowed Nadia to be shot in the head, and detained Mousavi for life on house arrest so he wouldnt take over?

On his official website Khamenein publishes vitriolic article against Ahmadinejad, accusing former president of violating legal, moral, religious rules. But gives no details.

Ahmadinejad won his last term on a political platform of fighting corruption and standing up for the common man. Apparently that is dangerous. Since he also is a vehemently anti-American activist his arrest comes as a surprise to me https://t.co/Tv6Yolgrgj
