Recently, China threatened Australia that if they continued calling for an independent investigation into the Wuhan virus, they would face boycotts of tourists and students. China and Australia have been at odds over trade issues for some time. A 15 page dossier by the Five Eyes Intelligence Group revealed the consensus that the COVID-19 virus likely escaped from the Wuhan laboratory – not from the wet market. Australia is part of the Five Eyes alliance.
“I saw some comments from the Chinese foreign ministry talking about coercive activity with respect to Australia, who had the temerity to ask for an investigation. Who in the world wouldn’t want an investigation of how this happened to the world?” Secretary of State Mike Pompeo (Time)
Five Eyes (FVEY) is an intelligence alliance that includes Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States. Most of the members say they believe the release of the virus was “accidental.” But…according to the Daily Telegraph Australia, that got hold of a copy of the intelligence report,
“It can also be revealed the Australian government trained and funded a team of Chinese scientists who belong to a laboratory which went on to genetically modify deadly coronaviruses that could be transmitted from bats to humans and had no cure, and is now the subject of a probe into the origins of COVID-19.
As intelligence agencies investigate whether the virus inadvertently leaked from a Wuhan laboratory, the team and its research led by scientist Shi Zhengli feature in the dossier prepared by Western governments that points to several studies they conducted as areas of concern.
It cites their work discovering samples of coronavirus from a cave in the Yunnan province with striking genetic similarity to COVID-19, along with their research synthesising a bat-derived coronavirus that could not be treated.”
Uh,oh. Inadvertantly leaked from the lab? The research was about creating a virus that could not be treated. Fortunately, the COVID-19 virus CAN BE TREATED. The FDA has granted emergency treatment status to hydroxychloroquine, remdesivir, and plasma antibodies. None are cures, but all are treatments.
The Chinese government instantly lied – first it said there was no evidence of person to person transmission. Then they hid whistleblower reports, and even “disappeared” the people do gave those reports. They withheld scientific data and refused to allow anyone to look at the research. They had samples and papers destroyed by an edict from the Chinese Health Authority as we previously reported.
“I can tell you that there is a significant amount of evidence that this came from that laboratory in Wuhan. These are not the first times that we’ve had a world exposed to viruses as a result of failures in a Chinese lab…I’ve seen what the intelligence community has said. I have no reason to believe that they’ve got it wrong.” Mike Pompeo
Most among the Five Eyes Intelligence group say it was an accident. The fact is that Dr Shi Zhengli was looking into modifications of the virus.
The Daily Telegraph obtained the 15 page dossier and they continued:
The Western governments’ research paper confirms this.
It notes a 2013 study conducted by a team of researchers, including Dr Shi, who collected a sample of horseshoe bat faeces from a cave in Yunnan province, China, which was later found to contain a virus 96.2 per cent identical to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that caused COVID-19.
The research dossier also references work done by the team to synthesise SARS-like coronaviruses, to analyse whether they could be transmissible from bats to mammals. This means they were altering parts of the virus to test whether it was transmissible to different species.
Their November 2015 study, done in conjunction with the University of North Carolina, concluded that the SARS-like virus could jump directly from bats to humans and there was no treatment that could help.
Newsmax also reported on the dossier of the Five Eyes Group. Here’s the gist of their conclusions:
- The lab had a sample with 96% genetic match to COVID-19 as early as 2013.
- “Risky” research bat-derived coronaviruses
- Asymptomatic carriers were “kept silence” early by China.
- Chinese search engines were censored to snuff out reports on the outbreak.
- The World Health Organization denied human-to-human transmission until late January, despite evidence to the contrary found by neighboring countries.
- China locked down travel within its country from Wuhan in the Hubei Province, but publicly criticized other country’s travel bans on China.
“Millions of people leave Wuhan after the outbreak and before Beijing locks down the city on Jan. 23,” the Five Eyes memo read, per the Telegraph. “Thousands fly overseas. Throughout February, Beijing presses the U.S., Italy, India, Australia, Southeast Asian neighbors and others not to protect themselves via travel restrictions, even as the PRC [People’s Republic of China] reimposes severe restrictions at home.”
There are reports that Dr Shi had nightmares wondering if the virus leaked from her lab. She came to the conclusion it did not. The Five Eyes dossier raises the question that it likely indeed came from the lab, since the horseshoe bat was never sold at the wet market. Is it just because China is so paranoid that they went to such great lengths to deny the whole issue? Or is it because of something else? They have continued to block Western access to the research. Tme to re-evaluate Western relationships with China.
