Baxley, Georgia- The owner of Qwik Chick Takeout, Jeanette Norris, near Highway 1 was brutally assaulted by a customer, Natasha Smith. Her husband, Nathaniel Eric Smith, punched her 15 year old daughter hard enough to cause a concussion. All over some Fried Chicken.
Nathaniel and Natasha Smith stopped at the Quik Chick Takeout restaurant at around 3 p.m. on Thursday June 22, 2017. They became unhappy with their meal, saying it was cold and there weren’t enough french fries. After an argument ensued over their complaint, Norris refunded their money. You’d think that would have been enough and the couple would leave. That’s not exactly what happened next.
“She went beserk. They both lost it, him and her both; started cussing and beating on the window.” Jeanette Norris
The couple were so belligerent that Norris called the police and stepped outside to let them know police were on the way.
That’s when Natasha decided the only answer was to brutally assault her. She punched Jeanette Norris hard enough to break her nose and blacken her eyes.

Norris’ 15 year old daughter got out of a truck to come and help her Mom. That’s when Nathaniel chose to punch her with his fist. She was knocked backward as the Smiths left… knocked hard enough to get a concussion.

“One of my employees yelled, ‘He’s got her,’ and that’s when I realized he had hit her. Who does that? Who punches a child like she’s a grown man standing there? He needs putting under the jail.” Jeanette Norris
Police and even Jeanette Norris were shocked at the callousness of the incident. The police Chief called it “pure brutality.” Jeanette’s employees and customers came out to console her daughter and see if they could help.

Police are looking for the couple. Daily Mail reported,
Police say both suspects left in a cream or silver-colored 2007 Cadillac Escalade with tag number REU8495.
Officials say the two have access to two other vehicles described as a silver 2004 Cadillac Deville 4s with Georgia tag number PVK5483, and a green 1996 Cadillac Deville 4s with Georgia tag number BXQ1673.
If you know the whereabouts of these suspects, please call 912.367.8305, or the 911 Center at 912.367.8111. They are wanted for Aggravated Battery, and Cruelty to a Child. Police urge caution.
Even though the time stamp shows 2010, it’s simply because someone didn’t set the time/date stamp in the surveillance camera. It occurred on June 22, 2017.
