The livestream of a Colleyville Synagogue service was disrupted on Saturday when a gunman entered the building. The Congregation Beth Israel Temple in Colleyville, Texas was having its Shabbat service just priot to the incident. Information shared by Twitter users say that the Rabbi and two or three others were being held hostage. SWAT, the FBI, Texas DPS, and Colleyville Police were on scene to assist with the hostage situation.
Colleyville is near Dallas, Texas. All residents in the immediate area were evacuated. The livestream was removed from Facebook at around 2 p.m. Rabbi Charlie Cytron-Walker is the leader of the Congregation, and is reportedly one of the hostages.

The gunman was described as a “Middle Eastern male.” Some also claimed that he told the people that his sister was Aafia Siddiqui, who was convicted of attempting to kill US military personnel. She is currently serving an 86 year sentence from 2010 at Federal Medical Center Carswell in Fort Worth. She is from Pakistan. It is unclear whether this is a real familial connection or not.

The congregation had a Facebook live stream on its Facebook page for a service that had started three hours prior. The livestream has since been disabled.
Before the live stream was disabled, a man could be heard repeatedly saying “I will die.”
“I am going to die. Don’t cry for me,” the man said.
Earlier, in the live stream, the man, who was not visible, could be heard in what appeared to be a discussion with negotiators about “releasing” the people inside.
