According to a Defense Department official, there is evidence that the Chinese government may be prepping for a “North Korean contingency.” They have reportedly placed the People’s Liberation Air Force (PLAAF) on high alert, as reported by the Daily Caller.
Reducing reaction time
Reports of China heightening its military readiness have been rising over the last weeks. The Defense Official stated that “intensified maintenance” was occurring in an effort to get their land-attack, cruise missile capable aircraft to a state of readiness.
Then there’s those troop movements.
UPI reported on April 12,
The Information Center for Human Rights and Democracy, a nongovernmental organization in Hong Kong, said Beijing has ordered troops at all five military “regions” to maintain preparedness because of the situation in North Korea, according to Oriental Daily News in Hong Kong.
According to the NGO, China’s armored and mechanized infantry brigades in the provinces of Shandong, Zhejiang and Yunnan received the state mandate.
About 25,000 troops of the Chinese military’s 47th group army of the Ninth Armored Brigade have been instructed to be ready to move long distances, close to the North Korea border, the Hong Kong-based organization said.
Other troops may have been mobilized.
China has grown increasingly frustrated with the bellicose actions of the DPRK. At one point they even threatened to nuke the rogue regime.
Surprise! PLA website removed article threatening nuclear strikes on DPRK if it crossed China’s “bottom line.”

The Express UK reports that even Russia has moved troops and military equipment closer Vladivostok, which is just 8 miles from the North Korean Border.
Kim Jong-Un has threatened to continue firing off missiles, even threatening nuclear war…which has created an extremely tense situation on the Korean peninsula.
Though the USS Carl Vinson and its strike group were reportedly ordered to go back to the Korean peninsula where the joint ROK/US military exercises took place, they haven’t arrived. In fact, as of April 17, they were conducting training exercises 3,500 miles away.
So how much of this information is disinformation? How much of it is just for the consumption of a crackpot named Kim Jong-Un?
