Update on Central Michigan University shooting. The suspect has been identified as James Eric Davis, Jr., 19. He was taken on Thursday night to the hospital with a drug-related injury, but has no criminal record. He is still at large. He is believed to have killed his parents.
Developing: A shooting on the campus at Central Michigan University has left two dead, with the suspect still at large. The incident took place at the co-ed dorm, Campbell Hall, at around 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Two people were shot dead on the 4th floor of the dorm. Police believe the suspect may still be on campus.
He is described as a 19 year old black male, 5ft 9 inches, wearing mustard yellow jeans and a blue hoodie. He is considered armed and dangerous and police are asking people not to approach him.
The circumstances of this incident are unknown, although police do not believe the deceased are students, and the incident could have been domestic related. The suspect is obviously known to someone or they wouldn’t know how old he is. We don’t know who the victims were. The usual anti-gunners on Twitter are shrieking this morning, but we aren’t going to give them a voice.
UPDATE 10:23 a.m.: The suspect is a 19-year-old black male who is approx. 5 foot 9 inches tall. He is wearing mustard yellow jeans and a blue hoodie. He may have taken off the blue hoodie. He is considered armed & dangerous. If you see the suspect, do not approach him. Call 911.
