Capitol Police Arrested California Man With Knives Near DNC Headquarters

Ok, call me suspicious, but the Capitol Police arrested a California Man who had a knife and a bayonet in his truck near the DNC headquarters. The truck had a swastika painted on the side mirror and an American flag where the license plate should have been. The suspect was identified as Donald Craighead, 44, from Oceanside, California.

This morning the United States Capitol Police arrested a California man who had multiple knives in his truck near the Democratic National Committee headquarters.

“This is good police work plain and simple,” said Chief Tom Manger. “We applaud the officers’ keen observation and the teamwork that resulted in this arrest.”

Around midnight, a Special Operation Division Officer was on patrol when he noticed a Dodge Dakota pickup truck, with a swastika and other white supremacist symbols painted on it, outside of the DNC headquarters. The truck did not have a license plate. Instead, a picture of an American flag was placed where the license plate should have been.  The Capitol Police officer pulled over the truck along the 500 block of South Capitol Street, SW.

The officers noticed a bayonet and machete, which are illegal in Washington, D.C., inside the truck.

The driver, 44-year-old Donald Craighead of Oceanside, California was arrested for Possession of Prohibited Weapons.

Craighead told police he was ”on patrol” and rattled off ”white supremacist” ideology to the officers. It is unclear if he planned to attend any events while in the city or if he had any local connections.

Conveniently, there is a protest scheduled for Saturday, September 18th in Washington DC called “Justice for J6.” The arrest of a loon bird is the perfect sort of left-wing narrative regarding those “white supremacists” they claim were all at the Jan 6th riot. The city is planning to return fencing ahead of the protest, according to ABC news.

We are closely monitoring September 18 and we are planning accordingly. After Jan. 6, we made department-wide changes to the way we gather and share intelligence internally and externally. I am confident the work we are doing now will make sure our officers have what they need to keep everyone safe.

All of the reports say that the man had a bayonet and a machete. In the USCP photo I see a large knife, not necessarily a machete. Do you see a bayonet anywhere in the pictures? There is what appears to be writing on the dashboard that says something about ”confederate” with an upside down symbol of the National Socialist Movement in the word, and the steering wheel is scrawled with a Pentagram and the word ”Satan” on it. This “white supremacist” is loaded with mixed messages.

The National Socialist Movement – the symbol in the center is upside down in the photo.

ABC reported police believe that Proud Boys and Oath Keepers – you know the “far right extremists” might attend the protest. Nancy Pelosi will be holding a “security” briefing on the event as well. They are working with Federal agencies and every other law enforcement entity to prevent anything like January 6th. The Capitol Police arrest of Donald Craighead plays well into that fear, to further the narrative of the left. So again, call me suspicious, but I’m taking all of it with a huge grain of salt.
