Biden’s pick for BLM (Bureau of Land Management) director – Tracy Stone-Manning – was involved in a tree-spiking situation with Earth First in 1989. Her nomination was pushed through in September by Democrats, even though she was allegedly involved in “domestic terrorism.” (The real kind). But Senator John Barrasso, R-WY the ranking member of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee wasn’t about to let her off the hook on answering questions she failed to respond to at her hearing. So he sent a letter and demanded a response by November 11.

The ranking member of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee sent the letter as a follow-up to his July note questioning Stone-Manning on her “involvement in domestic terrorism,” her “conduct” in relation to a “loan” she received as a Senate staffer, “as well as other important matters.”

“Almost four months has passed, and the Committee has still not received your responses to the follow-up questions for the record asked by its members,” Barrasso wrote.

“Ensuring the American public has complete and full answers to these questions is important to all citizens who utilize our public lands and whose livelihoods depend on them,” the Wyoming Republican continued.

Democrats slid her nomination through Congress on a party line vote of 50-45. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has for several years essentially been a rogue federal agency, stealing land from ranchers, farmers, and treating public lands as if they personally owned them (ask the Bundy’s and the Hammonds). In 2014, a facility that the BLM funded killed hundreds of endangered desert tortoises in Nevada (Reno Gazette Journal) They use helicopters to run wild horses and wild burros for roundups that often lead to their deaths for “management.” If an eco-terrorist is going to run this agency, you can count on things getting worse.

Tree spiking is a dangerous and violent eco-terrorism tactic where metal rods are inserted into trees to prevent them from being cut down. The metal rods damage saws that, in turn, have severely injured people, such as a mill worker whose jaw was split in two from an exploding saw.

In 1993, Stone-Manning was granted legal immunity for her testimony that she retyped and sent an anonymous letter to the U.S. Forest Service on behalf of John P. Blount, her former roommate and friend, documents reveal.

The letter told the Forest Service that 500 pounds of “spikes measuring 8 to 10 inches in length” had been jammed into the trees of an Idaho forest…

Stone-Manning also took heavy fire for her graduate thesis where she endorsed population control to protect the environment, writing that Americans needed to “breed fewer consuming humans.” She also wrote that parents should stop having children after having two and created a sample advertisement that called a pictured child an “environmental hazard.”

Do you think Tracy Stone-Manning will respond to Sen Barrasso’s request? Doubtful, and even if she responds, she won’t say much. But watch for the BLM to be supercharged against Americans in the near future.
