Australia Protests Covid Lockdown – Sound Familiar?

A handful of cases of Covid and one death in Australia have prompted more than half the population to be placed in covid lockdown. Called the ‘No Regrets Policy,’ it’s also sparked massive protests across the country from Sydney to Melbourne, Adelaide to Brisbane. Essential businesses are to stay open, nonessentials shops closed, construction sites closed, and the people are not allowed to leave their homes unless for essential needs. A massive demonstration that spoke of the people being fed up with such draconian measures has been occurring across the country. Numerous arrests were made because of the protests which “violated the public health directives.”

The strict lockdowns are in South Australia, and Victoria

“Italy just mandated vaccine passports. France just mandated vaccine passports. The UK is about to mandate vaccine passports. Australia is in lockdown again. The EU is restricting the free movement of free people based on vaccination status. The West is sliding into tyranny.” Emerald Robinson, Newsmax correspondent

The Greater Sydney area has been in lockdown for 4 weeks over an outbreak of the Delta variant. The country is reportedly 6 months behind in their vaccine schedule, which has made it extremely difficult for even prioritized people to obtain the vaccine. Thousands of protesters in Melbourne broke through a police line, and marched on.

Five million Greater Sydney residents have been told by government officials they cannot leave their homes except for four reasons.

Despite lockdown measures and other restrictions, including mask-wearing and social distancing, the CCP virus has continued to spread, with New South Wales reporting another 163 locally acquired COVID-19 cases on Saturday.

Prior to the event, NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard condemned the planned protest as “really silly” on Saturday morning.

“We live in a democracy and normally I am certainly one who supports people’s rights to protest … but at the present time we’ve got cases going through the roof and we have people thinking that’s OK to get out there and possibly be close to each other at a demonstration,” he said.

NSW Police Deputy Commissioner Gary Worboys said it was not the time for a protest.

He said police wanted to work with the organisers to make sure people were complying with public health orders and that it did not turn into a “disastrous” mass spreading event.

The Epoch Times

”Australians are told not to talk to each other. Australia’s pursuit of Zero Covid is an authoritarian fantasy which will leave them trapped in lockdown indefinitely. Isolated, terrified and unfree – pray for the people of Australia.” Bella Wallersteiner, political analyst

Does any of this sound familiar? Australia has been in lockdown five times now. Don’t let them do it here again.
